About

The Edgware Sephardi Bet Midrash began with one purpose, to establish a Bet HaMidrash filled with limmud hatorah whilst preserving and transmitting our minhagim, all of which can then be passed on to the next generation.

From humble beginnings, pioneered by a group of passionate individuals, the kehillah has tremendously grown with a real thirst for both Torah and educating our youths in the Sephardi mesorah. Current times has both allowed us to thrive yet at the same time posed many difficulties. Despite it all, we have persevered and flourished with weekday tefillah, shabbat, yamim tovim, shiurim, learning programs, avot ubanim, chazzanut program for children and many more communal events.

Among the primary goals of our Bet HaMidrash is to have a place where the sound of Torah can be heard day and night, and to be open to people from all walks of life.

We are privileged and honoured to have Rav and Rebbetzin Danan and their family to lead and join our warm kehillah, and look forward to our continued growth. The time has now come where more help is needed to nurture and further expand the growth of this holy project. The kehillah humbly turns to the wider community to assist and donate  ביד רחבה in this modest venture and share a part in להגדיל תורה ולהאדירה!
